A Quick Overview of the Joovy Caboose Ultralight

Weight is an important issue to consider when shopping for a tandem or sit and stand stroller. Many of these strollers can weigh over 40 pounds even without any kids sitting in it!

Updated Features

The current Joovy Caboose Ultralight stroller has been updated and has four new features compared to the old model. It has a larger under-seat storage basket, an additional seat recline position, all-wheel suspension and linked rear brakes.

Increased Storage

The Ultralight now has a larger storage basket which lets you hold more gear. It's great for when you are out shopping or on day trips with the kids. Joovy has also added two storage pockets to the outside of the basket. They are made from mesh and are good for storing items that require quick access such as extra bottles and drinks.

Extra Recline Position

The updated Caboose Ultralight now has three recline positions for the front seat. The old model only had two. It's a nice option for when your child wants to have a nap. It's also worth noting that the rear stand-on platform can still be used when the seat is in the new fully reclined position.

Linked Rear Brakes

The new linked rear brakes are a great security feature. It's also a great time saver as you no longer have to set both brakes individually.

Four Wheel Suspension

With the new all wheel suspension, the Joovy Caboose Ultralight is now much easier to push on rough terrain. It also makes for a smoother ride for your children especially if you have a toddler standing on the rear platform.

Available Accessories

There are two main accessories available for the Ultralight tandem stroller: the Cool Essentials Parent Organizer and the Dry and Snug rain and wind cover. Both are manufactured by Joovy and work with the entire Caboose stroller lineup.

The Cool Essentials Parent Organizer is a neoprene organizer that slips onto the handlebar of the stroller. It has a zippered pocket that lets you store small items such as a cell phone, wallet or keys. There are also additional pockets on the front for a water bottle and other items that you need quick access to. There's a total of two feet of available storage area.

The Dry and Snug rain and wind cover is exactly as it sounds. It's a plastic cover that is used to shield your child from the wind and rain. It has a zippered pass through opening that gives you access to your child without having to remove the entire cover.
